We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from Ventures Decor, including people who use assistive technology.
What we do
- Images of products and diagrams have text descriptions (alt text).
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and links and buttons show a visible focus outline.
- Body text and buttons are designed to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA color-contrast ratio.
- Layouts are built to reflow on screens as narrow as a small phone and when you zoom in.
- Form fields have visible labels, and size and price information is also given as text, not only in images.
Where we are still working
Some product images are printed designs that are hard to describe fully in words, and checkout is provided by Shopify, whose accessibility we do not control. We review the site as we add new pages and designs.
